While it may sound complicated, mindful movement is anything but hard to understand. Simply put, it refers to engaging in different exercises while placing all of your attention, or as much as you can, on the movements of your body and your breathing.

In this class, students might take a moment to notice the weight of your body on your feet or the position of your back when you’re sitting down.

These aspects of your physical well-being are often overlooked. Then students gain a moment of stillness and relaxation by drawing attention inward to what is happening within their bodies.

Becoming aware of what’s going on inside your body helps with emotional regulation, reduction in stress & anxiety, also an increases in overall wellness & focus.
